"I'm In"
This was the subject line of an email from a close friend. The simple message struck me, as it put into words our family’s approach to my fight against ALS. We've been overcome by the outpouring of support and kindness as I've begun this journey. So many of you have told us that you are, “in.”
Eliza, the boys, and I so appreciate our friends and family, near and far, and we believe that it is important to look for opportunities to make a difference, not just for me, but for this global issue. As we have learned more about ALS and the research going on, we have become more hopeful, not less.
Below are links to organizations with which Eliza and I have become familiar and believe are doing groundbreaking research in this field. We are inspired by the hope and the science. I invite you to take a look and learn more.
